The Ilmington Learner Toolkit sticker competition was launched to provide the children with a thorough understanding of the tools and to promote them within our school. The Ilmington Learner Toolkit is a group of words which tell us what we should do in our classrooms in order to be the best learners we can be. Each year group was given a different tool and they had to design a sticker. The Reception and Year 1 children focussed on Teamwork, the Year 2 children looked at Questioning, Year 3 were working on Concentration, Year 4 designed stickers for Creative Thinking, the Year 5 children focussed on Perseverance and the Year 6 children designed logos for Reflection. These stickers will be used by the teachers to reward children who have worked hard on that particular skill. The teachers then chose the top four designs for each tool and the School Council and House Captains voted for the winners. It was difficult to choose because every design was fantastic and the children had worked so hard. Congratulations to Poppy (Year 1), Grace (Year 2), Oliver (Year 3), Clémentine (Year 4), Ruby (Year 5) and Fred(Year 6) whose designs received the most votes and well done to everyone who entered.
