Act of Remembrance

Because Armistice Day falls on a Saturday this year, the school and members of our wider community gathered this morning at the village war memorial for a short service of Remembrance, led by the Rev Chris. It is always very special being part of this thought-provoking act of remembrance and many of the children wore their poppies or arm bracelets, which they had bought in aid of the Royal British Legion Poppy appeal. Our oldest pupil, Amber, joined our youngest pupil, Millie, in laying a wreath on behalf of the school and Megan and Jensen did the readings.
