St Mary's Church 

Ilmington C of E Primary School is a Church of England school within the Coventry Diocese and we have a strong link with our village church, St. Mary's. Reverend Richard Cooke visits our school for his regular whole school collective worship as well as offering spiritual and pastoral support for all members of the school community. Richard supports the school in the teaching of RE where appropriate. 

Our Church community supports the school in many ways. Ros Wakefield holds the role of Foundation Governor on our Governing Body. 

We also work in partnership with the Coventry Diocesan Board of Education in continually improving and growing as a Church school. 

Our Church Community

Situated just down the lane from our school and visible from our playground, St. Mary's Church is very important to us. We hold many celebrations at St. Mary's, from the services that we lead at Christmas, Harvest and Easter to our productions. St. Mary's Church is a key part of our RE learning at Ilmington School and we regularly attend the church to learn about elements of Christianity.
