Autumn Term 1 

Weeks 5 and 6 We're Going on a Bear Hunt

We have had fun learning about different textures and have had a go at creating some art with some, like mud! We have had fun retelling the story and have used our mini me blocks to put ourselves into it. We have also created our own huge bear.

This week we have been visited by Road Safety Louise who, with Warwick Bear's help, has taught us all how to be safe when near the road. It was lovely for her to visit and give us all our own road safety story book.

Weeks 3 and 4 The Little Red Hen

We have enjoyed making our own bread and eating it after our PE lesson. We have also used our cutting skills to complete jigsaw type pictures of The Little Red Hen and tried out using feathers for mark making.

Weeks 1 and 2 The Great Big Book of Families

What a lovely start to our Reception Year. We have all settled into Pippin Class so well and have enjoyed learning about our families, pets and homes. We have all made new friends and enjoyed getting to know the adults in school. It has been a tiring couple of weeks but, already, it seems like we have always been here!
