St
atutory Inspection of Anglican & Methodist Schools
Church of England and Methodist schools are subject to SIAMS inspection approximately every five years. Inspectors must answer 6 or 7 inspection questions, enabling them to evaluate the school's effectiveness as a Church school. SIAMS inspections are carried out in line with the 2023 Framework and in line with national policies.
As of September 2023, SIAMS inspections use a simplified, non-numerical, narrative judgment system focused on how a school’s theologically rooted Christian vision enables pupils and adults to flourish.
Judgment 1 (J1): The inspection findings indicate that the school is living up to its foundation as a Church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish.
Judgment 2 (J2): The inspection findings indicate that the school has strengths, but that there are also issues that leaders need to address as a matter of priority.
In May 2026 we were judged to have received Judgement 1 (J1).
