Mental Health Ambassadors

Check this page for updates from our Mental Health Ambassadors (MHAs). They are led by Mrs Keyes and Claire Gibb.

The Mental Health Ambassadors have been working hard to improve mental health and wellbeing across the school this term and this has included implementing a mood register in Jazz Class. This worked well so they have asked Russet Class to try it too! They have written a letter to the PTA to ask for new badges so that the MHAs are easily identified around the school. The MHAs have brought in the 'Kindness Book' which helps people to share positivity as they pass it from person to person around the school. The Mental Health Ambassadors are planning their assembly for Mental Health Awareness Week which will be in May.

This week we had our meeting in forest school. The trees sheltered us from the rain!

This term, the Mental Health Ambassadors have been thinking of their own special Mental Health Messages. They took photographs to demonstrate these.

Message 1- It's good to talk.

Message 2- Why fit in when you were born to stand out?

The Mental Health Ambassadors have been reading books related to mental health and they have been writing reviews so that you can read them too if you would like.
