Jazz Class Blog
Autumn Term 1
We have been preparing poems to perform to an audience!
We had a fantastic day for Ilmington's Poetry Day! We had a workshop with Judge the Poet who taught us that we are all poets! He helped us to write our own rhyming poems. Everyone has had the opportunity to enter our Autumn poetry competition and to prepare a poetry performance for the class. The ones who get the most votes will be performed in celebration assembly on Friday!
Jazz class have been learning about the different ways that plants reproduce. We set up an investigation to find out how runners, bulbs and tubers reproduce.
We had a fantastic time on Ilmington's Day of Languages experiencing different languages from across the world! We collected a stamp in our passport for every country we visited. Well done Jazz!
Jazz Class have been learning about the parts of a flower in science this week! They dissected lilies and labelled each part.
