Head's Welcome
"Look at what we have here in this wonderful school."
A former Secretary of State for Education said this of our school when he visited us in the summer of 2022 to help bury a time capsule. We are quite rightly proud of this unique and very special school.
Nestled in the foothills of The Cotswolds, Ilmington Church of England Primary School is a wonderful place to learn. Our dedicated staff and governing body are committed to ensuring that every child at our school has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. We strive to live and learn through our Christian Values of Service, Thankfulness, Compassion, Friendship, Peace, Hope, Fellowship and Reconciliation with love and respect at the heart of everything we do.
Our school Bible verse is, "For with God, nothing shall be impossible" (Luke 1 v37) and we make every effort to ensure that our school ethos reflects this.
In partnership with our extremely supportive families and community, we strive to ensure that each child develops a life-long love of learning and curiosity about the world as well as nurturing their social development and wellbeing. We work hard to ensure that all our children are valued and cared for in an environment where they are given every chance to become fully rounded people and deepen their knowledge of the world around them.
As the Secretary of State said in an interview whilst in post, talking about Ilmington C of E Primary School, "The parents here understand the value of education and what the Church of England puts into this school."
This website gives you a window into our school, but the best way to experience Ilmington C of E Primary School is to come and visit. You will receive a very warm welcome.
