It has been lovely to welcome all of the children back and hear of their half term adventures. We have really enjoyed making the most of the lovely weather. We continue our topic on transport, focusing on planes and trains.

Spring 2 Week 1

We have been enjoying learning all about how transport has changed over the last 100 years. So much so we had to go further than 100 years and find out more about Viking longboats at the request of some very eager budding historians. Most recently we have been amazed by the bravery of Bertha Benz who took the first ever gas powered motor car on a 60 mile journey without even telling her husband, the inventor, Karl Benz. As always I have been so impressed with the children’s eagerness to know and discover more. We had lots of fun using AI as part of our Safer Internet Day Activity. The challenge was to come up with most obscure question to ask Siri. Well Bramley Class did not disappoint…who knew an earthworm had 5 hearts and that Christmas is in 317 days!
