Ethos and Values

To Faithfully Educate Every Child to be a World Changer

'For with God, nothing shall be impossible'

Luke 1 v.37
Our one school rule is Respect.
This runs through every decision that we make.
Are we respecting ourselves? Are we respecting others? Are we respecting property? Are we respecting God and His world?
At Ilmington Church of England Primary School, we provide a challenging and creative learning environment in order to foster spiritual, social, moral and personal growth as well as stimulating thinking and promoting high standards of academic achievement.

We explore and strive to live by our Christian values of:

Generosity, Thankfulness, Compassion, Trust, Courage, Perseverance, Forgiveness,

Justice, Friendship, Service, Respect and Truthfulness.

Each term we take a Christian Value as a focus for collective worship and award special certificates to children who have especially demonstrated that value.

Each class in our school focuses on a special class value throughout the year in addition to exploring each value through our RE lessons and Collective Worship.

Ilmington School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff, governors, visitors and parents to share this commitment.
