Ethos and Values

‘Foundations for life; promoting the love of lifelong learning, creating successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens’

'The best we can be'

At Ilmington Church of England Primary School, we work together to provide a challenging and creative learning environment in order to foster spiritual, social, moral and personal growth as well as stimulating thinking and promoting high standards of academic achievement.

We believe that a secure Christian environment, which values the effort, ideas, contributions and achievements of all children and adults, will allow children to develop a love of learning and confidence. This will help to prepare them for satisfying and productive adult lives in which they have the ability and enthusiasm to make a positive contribution to a changing society, requiring the skills of adaptability, resourcefulness and tolerance.

Ilmington School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff, governors, visitors and parents to share this commitment.
