Chedworth Roman Villa
Class 3 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Chedworth yesterday on Tuesday. It has really brought our topic to life and we all learnt a lot. What a fantastic day!
Class 3's Roman soldier day
In class 3 we were lucky enough to meet a Roman Soldier. We had an action packed day and he put us through our paces training us up for the Roman army. Here are some pictures of our day and the pottery Roman shields we've been making in our art lessons!
Class 3 Become Inventors
After being inspired by Newsround, on Thursday 31st January, we presented our inventions to the rest of the class. We spent some time working with our teams designing and coming up with idea and making a poster to help sell it to the public. We had to think about materials which we would need to make the robot and how much it would us and how we could sell it at a profit. In computing, we worked on producing an informative slide show to tell the audience about its features. In our final session, we presented our ideas and opened up the floor to questions afterwards. It was fun for us to hear about everyone else's inventions and to share our ones with the class.

Survival Skills Day
This half term, in class 3, we have been learning about Extreme Survival. To round off our learning, we took part in a Survival Skills Day. The skills we learnt included; baking bread, a scavenger hunt and shelter building. We also played lots of survival games and finished the day off with a sunny picnic.
